"Feedback:
Clear identification of the band and genre and a development of video for purpose.
Excellent and clear budget.
Needed an actual production schedule in order to give the client an idea of what to expect and when.
Questions
Issues around representation?
Have you secured your office location?
Permisions to film on transport?"
This is the feedback which I received from client. From this feedback, I would make changes from my pitch to the creation of my actual product. From the questions that my client asked me, I know that there was some issues around the way that the band and women were represented within the music video I was going to create. This was something which I did take into consideration when creating my pitch however, I did not do this in enough detail and therefore it was still an issue to my client. When creating the final product I will make sure to readdress this issue and slightly change the narrative so that it means that there would be no objectification of women within the video even though this is a convention of many music videos. In response to the office location, we had not managed to secure one at the time of the pitch however taking the feedback of my client into place, I decided that this was a priority and will contact not just office locations but also other places which may work or can be dressed to look right. After thinking about what my client said about filming on public transport, I realised that I would need to get a lot of permissions. This means that I know I need to change my narrative in order to not include this so that means that I do not need to gain said permissions.
